At our AGM in 2001 we set up an annual support fund (£5,000 p.a.) to help parents become more involved in education by supporting them to go to conferences. Members can apply to the fund to pay their conference delegate fees. In the past, members have applied to the fund to go to conferences on bullying, ethos and developing school grounds. We advertise such conferences in our newsletter, Backchat.
Anyone who is interested in applying for funds should write, email or phone the office for more information, or you can use our Feedback form.
There is a limit on the number of funded places for each conference and these are awarded on a first come first served basis. The actual money is paid directly to the conference organisers.
