National Family Week

E-mail Print

Find out more about this UK event which will run between May 31st and June 6th.

At the end of May this year, the UK's second-ever National Family Week will take place, encouraging people to celebrate being part of a family, whatever their shape or size.

National Family Week aims to highlight the important roles families play in society and encourage healthy active lifestyles and quality family time. It is the largest coalition on family issues and is backed by all major political parties including the First Minister of Scotland, Alex Salmond and a huge range of national charities, local authorities, community groups and a whole host of celebrities - including Sir Terry Wogan!

Last year a number of schools got involved by running events for families in their community.  Why not organise something for your school?
