Capitals ice hockey The Capitals have asked to let you know about their great new offer!

The Edinburgh Capitals are Scotland’s only professional ice hockey team and compete in the British Elite League. The season runs from September until the end of March and for the coming year they are looking to continue to work closely with schools and clubs to help promote the game of ice hockey. This season they are offering programmes to local schools/clubs which could involve their players visiting your school and holding an assembly for the pupils.

The Capitals can arrange for two or more of our professional ice hockey players to come to your school, meet the children and talk to them about the importance of healthy eating, teamwork and sporting activity, as well as promoting the game of ice hockey.

Capitals ice hockey They also have a brilliant fundraising idea! The Capitals “Cash Back for Schools” scheme proved to be a very worthwhile, popular, and effective exercise for those schools that took part in the pilot initiative last season. The scheme is very simple and not only gives schools the opportunity to attend a game at a discounted price, but also to raise funds in the process as for each ticket sold, the Capitals would give back 50% of the money to your school.

The Club may even be able to arrange competitive rates for coach hire should a group wish to travel together from a distance.
