The Kids' Food Campaign
have launched this campaign to stop the advertising of foods that are high in fat, sugar and salt to children.
Which? have found that the techniques used for this kind of marketing is becoming increasingly sophisticated. For example, fast food brands are now often part of online games and educational resources have been sponsored by chocolate companies.
According to Which? research in 2006, nearly nine out of ten parents in Britain think food companies need to be more responsible in the way that they market food to children. Which? believes that the way the food industry uses its considerable influence to make parents' lives harder and children's lives less healthy must stop.
