Does the front of your school look a bit drab? Is it a welcoming sight for visitors? Well, if not then Grounds for Learning is currently recruiting schools to take part in a project aimed at transforming the part of the playground at the front of the school, the part most visible and connected to the local community.

It includes: a grant of £800 specialised CPD training for teaching staff dedicated help and support from GfL staff on issues ranging from fundraising to sourcing local contractors to help with the work ongoing support from the GfL membership scheme Application is via the GfL website and interested schools should visit their website for all the relevant information. Completed application forms should be returned to GfL no later than Friday 24 September. Applications are particularly welcome from areas currently under represented in the Lottery grant distribution - Dundee, North/ South Lanarkshire, South Ayrshire, Glasgow SIPs & Renfrewshire.
