Ministers Question time
In the current edition of our newsletter “Backchat” you can read a parent’s letter to the Minister for Education, Peter Peacockfollowing his article in Backchat 79. Well, now you can get the chance to ask Peter Peacock, the Minister for Education, took part in an online question and answer session after his announcement on the future of parental involvement on Tuesday 24th August.
You can have a look at this via the ParentZone website on:
www.parentzonescotland.gov.uk
On the same day Mr Peacock visited a primary school in Edinburgh to “launch” his new push to involve parents more in their child’s education. But is he right and what exactly is parental involvement? Is it just about helping with homework or something much more deep-seated?
